PLUS VALIA TAXThe Plusvalia tax is a form of official capital gains tax charged by the Town Hall on the increase in an official set of values of the property when you come to sell it.
It varies widely, depending on the amount of time that has passed between sales, the land involved and whether or not there has been a real increase in value if such a short time has passed since it was developed.
You can find exactly how much it will be by asking at your town hall. They have a Plusvalia office which will tell you the exact amount of the tax before you sell your property
This is tax is normally agreed to be paid by the seller.
It can be charged directly against the property if the vendor or buyer "forgot" to pay it.
